VaccineCab meets the requirements of The Commonwealth Department of Health and Age Care, which requires the storage of Vaccine and Insulin to be maintained at air temperature between two and eight degrees Celsius.
All shelves comply within the range of the Cold Chain Guidelines of two to eight degrees centigrade tested when the shelf are initial empty then tested with the vaccine stocked in all shelves.
VaccineCab has an inbuilt external digital temperature monitor that records minimum and maximum temperatures within the refrigerator with a capacity for re-setting by the pharmacist.
VaccineCab:
- VaccineCab maintains a stable, uniform and controlled cabinet temperature unaffected by ambient air temperature, and has a defrost system that allows defrosting without rises in cabinet temperature.
- VaccineCab have a standard alarm and safety feature alert and good temperature recovery.
- VaccineCab does not constantly display minimum/maximum and ambient temperatures. VaccineCab has separate minimum/maximum temperatures to monitor the refrigerator.
- VaccineCab has a daily data-logger to download to view temperature data.
- VaccineCab alarms if temperatures outside +2°C to +8°C are reached.
- VaccineCab have a fan-forced air circulation capability.
- VaccineCab does not have a freezer compartment.
- VaccineCab has no crisper containers.
- VaccineCab shelves are of “open rung” design, not solid construction.
- VaccineCab bottom shelves have an open rung basket.
